Well today was the day for my first day on meds. Seems ok. The shrink and PCP put me on 20mg of Adderall. So far it seems ok. Really thirsty, and no buzzzzzzz. The weird thing is, it's kinda hard to describe, but the first thing that I noticed is that it got "quiet". Not that I ever really noticed it was noisy before but now it is quieter. Don't know if that makes sense or not.

It makes perfect sense to me. My son asked his doctor to check his ears cause he couldn't hear anymore. His ears were fine but Koda was adament that something was wrong what we were able to come up with was that he didn't hear so many things anymore. His doctor explained to us that the med helps with sensory issues that may have went un-noticed. And that all the information, his thought processing, outside sights and sounds were not reverbrating thru his brain but were properly being analyzed and stored. I hope this helps some.
Day 2
Well things seem to be going ok. I am feeling a little "Fuzzy" but I am sure that'll go away when my body adjusts to the stimulant. I feel like I can concentrate better, visually things seem more vivid. I do feel a little on edge though and once or twice I stumbled on a word or two but overall I feel good

Hi,
I am sort of new here but I am very interested in your progress, I have not been formally diagnosed as ADD, but I know I have it, so it wouldn't be hard to get the doctor to say-yep you have it-my mom is convinced I need to be on Adderall but I don't know much about what it is all about, I know when I am taking a decongestant w/stimulants ephedrine or whatever I seem to be clearer headed and can actually finish a project w/o getting sidetracked. Is that what it does? thanks and hope all is going well for you,

I'm on my second day of Strattera. I notice that things are different - nothing specific, just different. I also have a dry mouth and a tingling scalp at times. I understand it takes a few weeks for Strattera to become fully effective.
My employer and I are both looking forward to the day when I can finish a project!
