I just read that a peekaboo game is a good way of teaching infants to take turns and attend to emotions (and maybe other stuff...).

I don't remmeber if anybody played that with me. Whatever. I checked it on wikipedia, and there's an interesting link about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-not-B_error experiment,
which is failed by kids before around 10 months of age and 'passed' after.

I wonder, what does it prove in terms of attention ?

There are some sketchy explonations in the article, but not very helpful.

I wonder also, can the experiment be engineered so that it captures the very 1st day the baby gets it right?

Fascinating. I shall try this out.:D

I've always read that peekaboo is supposed to teach object permanence.

I hate the idea that I lack some effin permanence just because my mom had no time to play this with me. So I hope this is all BS :) ;)

How are you going to try this out ?

I mean triple blinding it somehow ?

maybe on a tablet with different colors and shapes ?

can a 10 mo. baby get the flat things from a tablet ?
