I notice that there are a lot of similar questions in this forum section. I think that this might help someone, so I decided to post it.

These are the 3 questions.


I found that these three questions in this order, are pretty much the only questions that actually matter.

They seem to work for most anything, In life, at work, prioritizing etc.

For Example,

What do I need to do?
Why do I need to do it?
How am I going to do it?

In that order, this is the planning process in a simple nutshell.

I use these 3 questions for system design, debugging, and in general conflict management.

Often times you have to use it in cycles.

What is the problem?

Why is this a problem?

How can we find a solution?


What is the solution?

Why is this the solution?

How can we implement this solution?

and so on.

It isn't a fancy solution but I found that it helps. I wasn't sure if I should post it, since maybe it's kind of elementary, but it's helped me a lot.
