I don't think I can work much longer. I feel like us adhders often have a shorter shelf life than NTs.

I've had high blood pressure since my 20s. Sure medicine keeps it down but I can't imagine the continuous stress isn't doing damage to me in some other silent way (silent until my body breaks down).

Do you guys see that in yourselves too? That you won't be able to keep working in your career until you reach a ripe retirement age even if your performance is fine now?

Anyway just venting and looking for people that can understand this feeling.

I've never had an actual "career" but I can say that I had a five year limit at any job I've ever had. I've never been fired, but when the fifth year begins to approach, I'd be itching my way out.

I did move a lot too.
