Hi

Anybody here that use medication for add + pdd nos?
Now i have been on Intuniv 3 mg for about 5 weeks, but most days im
Too tired to do anything :( also i'm more cranky and irritated

Before Intuniv i was on Strattera for 6 months but have to quit that because of the side effects.

The doc prefer a non-stimulant because of my (social) anxiety and panic character.

Pfff but this is more hell :(

Can you refresh me on what PPD-NOS is? My sister is on the spectrum and back in the day she took Luvox.

Can you refresh me on what PPD-NOS is? My sister is on the spectrum and back in the day she took Luvox.

PDD-NOS stood for Pervasive Developmental Disorder - Not Otherwise Specified.
The specialist we saw said because my granddaughter could make eye contact
and likes physical contact that she doesn't have full blown autism. Bullhockey.

Now they don't make such distinctions, you're either on the spectrum or you're
not. Your symptoms may be mild, moderate, or severe.

If my granddaughter has adhd it is pretty mild, just enough to make her very
inconsistent. So she hasn't needed stimulant meds. Her biggest issue is mood
disorder and anxiety, so she took Risperidone for years, and now takes an SSRI.

I have both adhd-c and autism (mild) and found by accident that Omega 3
helps my adhd. I too take an SSRI for my anxiety and moods.
