I'm quite frustrated right now and I'm getting a bit anxious, their generic brand is the only brand that works well for me out of the 4 brands that I've tried.
This is a PSA announcement so you guys can be informed about this as I'm not seeing anything about this online.

My local pharmacy recently ran out of Corepharma and I just called the manufacturer today and they informed me that the entire line of IR generic adderall has been discontinued.

If you are like me, and Corepharma works the best for you... you should start looking for a new pharmacy that carries and alternative brand.
Different generic brands may affect each person differently, I'm not a medical professional, therefore I will not suggest which brands you should take.

I searched everywhere to find info on this with different search terms and I cant find anything about this being true, I also searched the fda's website. Are you sure its not just something thats being presented as fact but that isnt actually a fact?

It's true that Impax is discontinuing their generic.
See the announcement from the FDA (https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/drugshortages/dsp_ActiveIngredientDetails.cfm?AI=Dextroamphetami ne+Saccharate,+Amphetamine+Aspartate+Monohydrate,+ Dextroamphetamine+Sulfate+and+Amphetamine+Sulfate+ Tablets). (Click the Discontinuations tab and scroll down to Dextroamphetamine Saccharate [...].)
For each dose, there's a note dated January 5, 2017, that "The company has made a business decision to permanently discontinue manufacturing of the product."
I don't know if another company (or something Impax merged with?) might pick up the slack, or if there will just be fewer generic options going forward.

Impax sold Corepharma and it's subsidiaries (the investors have not yet been foreclosed). According to an executive at Corepharma, the generic Adderall formula was divested. I was told to reach out to Epic Pharma for additional information. I've contacted 3 people ady Epic so far, 2 read my message and ignored me. 1 responded that they no longer work there. I have idiopathic hypersomnia and I can't function without this specific formula (not sure why). Should we contact a journalist? I think the public would be pretty upset if they became aware that the only formula that helps treat idiopathic hypersomnia and narcolepsy was discontinued...

I guess I'll have to find smaller pharmacies that still have some in stock... until they run out. I'm already starting to suck at life without it.

Its funny since a bad experience 2 years back, I've always specified mfg corepharma on all my scripts. Last month Express Scripts sent me a note that I needed to call them. They were telling me they no longer had corepharma so I had to use some alternative and sure enough I'm having challenges with it. I've tried different ones in the past & same problems. If anyone's able to find a good corepharma replacement, please share.

I had Sunpharma (yellow tablet with MP on it) and didn't like it the first few days until for some reason it started working incredibly well (better than Corepharma IMO - lasted longer, cleaner feeling, etc.) Only downside was the out of pocket cost was absurd, like $400 for a 3 month :/.

Sandoz isnít bad.

Haven't tried it but wanted to and couldn't get it filled anywhere, if Corepharma dries up again I'll definitely try it out.
