I start my meds with Concerta18mg and I did for one week,

I didn't feel anything; only a little headache in the second day.

Now I am taking 36mg for almost other week I'm not feelling any results yet;

only a little bit of low energy(depression) early evening on the third day.

How long do I have to wait to increase my dosage?

Do you guys think the efect of dosage has anything to do with my size?

5-11 and 195 pouds.

Thank you?

I'm about the same size as you. I've been on Concerta 18mg. I did notice something with the first dose. I can concentrate better, and I can do boring tasks without as much desire to procrastinate. It's not perfect, I can still get distracted so I may need a higher dose.

But if you've felt nothing at all, then it might be the wrong medication for you.

Please don't play around with your dosage on your own...it could be life threatening. Talk to your doctor please.

Brazil, I agree! No, it doesn't have to do with your size...unless your prefrontal cortex is substantially larger than every other human.....

Also, since everyone reacts differently to a different dose of the same med you may have to give your body time to actually respond to a new med.

Some meds do give immediate results for some people....but not everyone. I would reset your expectations that if the dose you are on doesn't work after about 4 weeks then talk to your doctor about increasing it or even trying something else.

Yep, I know what you're thinking...."how the heck can I be patient when I have ADD and the first thing I want is quick results or I feel like I have to change things?"

That's the trick...BE PATIENT.....otherwise you might actually end up a hospital patient. :)
