==============================================

Has anyone tried them or has any opinion on them? I'm hoping to order one as soon a possible, unless you have evidence that the company isn't very trustworthy *glares at Natucor*.

I've done some research, and found nothing on Glutamag. Focus ADDult seems prety legit though...

Edit: Woops, sorry. Posted in the wrong forum.

I have seen no evidence that herbal, naturopathic or other so called natural cures are of any use. I would not waste my money on them - but that's me.....

My son who suffers from ADHD uses Glutamag and he is definitely less hyper and can concentrate better after supplementation.

We have been using it for over a year now and I would definitely recommend it.

Hope this helps.

For what seems like the bizzillionth time...... there is NO research supporting ANY supplement for the clinical treatment of ADHD.

The US Surgeon General's Report on Mental Health ( Chapter 3) : Disorders of Infancy, Childhood & Adolescence has excellent info on this subject.

Omega 3 long chain fatty acids have shown promise,however, only as a supplement and not a treatment.

By "treatment" or "clinical treatment," I'm referring to something that would take the place of medication.

If something helps you and it doesn't hurt, then by all means give it a shot.

But please keep in mind that the research has never substantiated the long term validity & reliability of any supplement.

I'm talking about 30 years of research.

I take Omega 3's as a supplement myself. I can't say if it helps me, but it can't hurt me either.

If the research supports it, then it will make life a lot easier. But for now, that's where things stand.

Welcome to the forums, RussianVodka!:)

Omega III fatty acids are the only supplement I'm aware of that the research indicates has real potential -- I take it and I don't know if it helps or not. It's good for a lot of other things in your body, so it seems worth trying. Stimulent medication however makes the clearest most immediate difference for most folks.
