I'm finding that there are many ADDers doing the kind of work I do.......

Why being a bus driver is the perfect job for some ADDers:

You need to be in a hurry ....

You need to be a talker/you need to be a LOUD fast talker...

You need to be friendly .....

You need to be able to multi task....

You need to see everything at once ....

You need to be able to change your mind in seconds.....

You need a sense of humor, let me correct that,an ADDers sense of humor.... :D

You need to like to be in charge ....

You need to like being a loner ....

Oh ya, you need to be able to think like a kid and act like a grown up.... Most of the time.....lol....

Funny that, I have almost always found bus drivers to be really cool and friendly people... :D :D :D

Me too.....especially the ones I have had:

1. drive me to day camp......
2. drive me to junior high when it was too far to walk....

always very friendly and willing to help and did everything to make us kids feel safe.....would not start driving until everyone was seated, etc. and no smoking on the bus no matter what!!
