My son has been taking 18 mg of Strattera, but it doesn't have the desired effects. He IS calmer than before so I am not ready to throw in the towel yet. I spoke with his doctor today and he recommended giving him 10 mg in the morning and 10mg at night. Does anyone on this board dose like this? Does it help in getting you to focus more than taking one major dose?

During my first run of Strattera I was taking 40mg in the morning and another 40mg around 3:00pm. It helped reduce the side-effects of taking 80mg in one shot. Give it a try. Everyone is different.
