adderall basically is amphetamine mixed salts including dextroamphetamine. methamphetamine has a methyl molecule bonded to the amphetamine. methamphetamine and mdma are two of the most harmful illicit psychostimulants around. adderall and dexedrine, when taken in large doses also cause brain damage. one need not take more than 30mg of adderall.
I found this on yahoo after typing MDMA and Adderall only because
my head has been annoying me for 2 months now.

You should at least mention in your post how this relates to adderall and dexamphetamine. I'm assuming you see a connection.
Read research on the drugs themselves. Web searches are inherently biased - they 'beg' the question so to speak.

I've seen convincing evidence that even chronic, heavy, long-term MDMA use imparts relatively little, if any, permanent brain damage. There are some temporary negative brain changes that seem to disappear about one month after cessation of MDMA usage.

Chadwick, most legitimate MDMA research also supports your inferences. Those who may decide to research on the subject should know that Ricaurte's studies on MDMA which showed brain damage have been withdrawn due to several problems, most notably the fact that it was discovered that they did not use MDMA due to a mislabelled bottle, not to mention that his methodology was pitiful.
Millenium Man, I can assure you that those of us who are prescribed Adderall know full well what we are taking. On my bottle, it says specifically "Amphetamine salts, 10mg, generic for Adderall." Furthermore, the Patient Information sheet for Adderall is quite explicit about the constituents of the drug. Also, I don't know why you say "amphetamine mixed salts including dextroamphetamine." Adderall is a mixture of both stereoisomers of amphetamine, levoamphetamine and dextroamphetamine, in several different salt forms.

I use to abuse MDMA, I self medicated with MDMA for 2 years, yeah I got serious mood problems now, was thought I was always going to be a drug addict, but hey, adderall is good enough, it's ethier this, or illegal drugs.

Comparing street drugs to ADD meds just isn't a valid comparison. One is made in an underground lab from who knows what by people who may or may not know what they're doing and may or may not be adding impurities to the drug. The other is made in a strictly controlled industrial lab by a pharmaceutical company and tested for purity. One is obtained from a dealer with no prescription, no medical supervision, and no concern for your health. The other is prescribed by a doctor who monitors your health while you're on the drug.
Methamphetamine, Adderall, Ritalin, MDMA are all abusable, true. However, all are useful if taken as prescribed by a doctor. (Even MDMA used to be available by prescription in the US. It was withdrawn because of concerns of abusability.) You won't get addicted to your meds if you take them as prescribed.
As for safety, let's just say that people, including children, have been on ADD meds for almost 75 years. They are well studied and safe.
End of thread.
