I just got a job as a pharmacy technician at the hospital, the orientation is on the 16... $11/hour.. it is ok right ?
I have a quiz today, I have work to do, but I can't focus. I want to do everything at once... I start one thing and stop , start doing something else , stop... back and forth. So I Just gave up and came to write here.
I just told this guy that I have ADD, we were talking about being organized and all, now he must think that I am crazy and lazy.
I hope that everyone is feeling good today, I was until now.... Thank you everybody for your great advice and the support , I really appreciate it.

Hey TCB -- CONGRATS on that job....the money is good, yes....:)
BUT what excellent experience you will get -- and be able to write about it on your pharmacy school application.....
Have you read the book I'm not Lazy, Crazy or Stupid...?? I doubt your friend thinks you're crazy and lazy just from revealing you have ADD....and if he does -- oh well -- your success to come in your life will show him otherwise.....it's a stereotype about ADD'ers and not true at all....
I'm glad you decided to take a break from your studies and the struggles and visit us again here.....:)
When you're feeling overwhelmed with all the "stuff" you have to do, perhaps it would help to use a timer or something tha "goes off" so you won't be distracted by having to watch a clock. Set it for, say, 5 minute increments (or however long you think you can handle trying to focus on one of the tasks).
The "work time" increments will allow you to get at least something done. When the timer goes off, stop and take a [timed] break, or if you find you can focus a little longer on the first task you handled, set the timer again and keep after it. Or if you're ready to switch focus, reset the timer for another "work time" increment and go to another task.
This method has helped me a lot, but I acknowledge it might not be for everyone. :)

TBC: You say you were feeling good until "now".....May I suggest something?
When you're feeling down or depressed about things -- with someone like YOU who has a lot of good stuff going on right now -- in addition to difficult ADD stuff -- it is always good to remember to focus on the:
good and hopeful and positive stuff you've got going on....and with you, it's alot.....Think about pharmacy school and the new job....and the orientation.....and the great things to come.....this might help your "not so good" moments....:)

Well done on the job TCB.
Sometimes; if your mind is racing too fast, try taking a shower. It gives your head some external stimulus, gives yyour hearing a good workout, and sometimes can just be enough to slow down the racing to let yourself concentrate. Sometimes a hot shower works...if no luck....turn the hot water off...and see how long you can stand the cold.
I'ts a 2 cent option and only takes 5-10 minutes to know if it works or not.
