i'm not sure exactly how to work around this as i'm not really well versed with the effects of straterra. when i take straterra my stomach makes me feel like i want to vomit sometimes, and sometimes not. how do i plan my breakfasts? do i always have to eat a lot before taking my meds?

Strattera is a little caustic. Can you just take it after you eat, or do you not always eat breakfast?

really? crap, does taking straterra a lot without breakfast result in serious or permanent damage? also, im not a breakfast person, are there any other meds that don't involve having to eat beforehand

Strattera and the extended release simulants are delivered to you through the intestinal system. This could explain why people have that nausious feeling about 30 min to 1 hour after taking their medication.

Get some of that instant breakfast drink and take your medication with it. It might help with the stomach issues. I can tell you my stomach only bothered me when I increased my dosage. It should go away as your body adjusts to the medication.

Let us know what you decide and how it goes.

In my case I still found I HAD to eat before, or within 30 minutes after, taking my daily 80 mg Strattera. This was over a period of two years. But, looking on the bright side some sort of breakfast is a health habit to have....doesn't have to be anything that isn't good for you!
