6 months on Adderal (generic barr 10 mgs 3 x a day) everything was hunky dorey after the initial side effects wore off and now I am having some weird stuff happen to me in the last month. Its freaking me out, my eyes hurt (pressing on the lower parts of my eyes at the nose seems to help), also seems cloudy and blurry at times, the eye thing is really messing with me because I have never had eye problems. My eyes feel tired alot and by the afternoon if I move my eyes too fast I feel dizzy or disoriented. I dont know whats going on but I dont like it, I also feel no need to do anything except hyperfocus on the computer all the time. I was doing so well on Adderal, this really sucks, Im scared to talk to my Dr. I dont want him to take me off, but I guess I will if this keeps up. Also, this general feeling of foreboding ALL the time, like something horrible is going to happen. I havent upped my dose, nothing different. Anyone have any advice, appreciated!

If nothing is different I'd definatly seek an eye exam. In less then one year my son had to have his lenses changed. Eyes can change quickly. If nothing is wrong there talk to your MP soon.
You are also describing what could (could) be possible signs and symptoms of high blood pressure or a pressure headache or migraine.
Could be unrelated, I would talk to a doc. Also, I have heard that different generics have diff effects. Look at your old scrip bottles, maybe they changed their generic brand. Sounds like it could be allergies too...Go see your doc, you don't need to feel like that
Sweetmama, have you thought about seeing an eye doctor? You might have the beginning of a cataract or maybe you need glasses. Please don't assume that it's add related, take care of your sight. Cause once it's gone it's gone. Good Luck and keep us posted

Hey Guys! Thanks for the responses, sinus infection huh? Ive never had one, what are the symptoms and what do I need to know? I was actually thinking how adderall is also a decongestant right? so how does that play into it? I have crazy pressure in my face, Im thinking it could be a sinus infection if I am reading what I searched right. Any input would be great.

I had a sinus infection not too long ago. They're horrible.
Signs and symptoms are. . .
Usually, you will have green snot, lots pressure around your sinuses (nose, cheeks - close to nose, forehead especially), headache, sometimes teeth will hurt, you just feel plain miserable (like a cold, but worse). Usually, it seems like a cold sets in, but then, a few days later - you know something is wrong and it's not your typical cold.
Anti-biotics clear up sinus infections.
Do you have symptoms of a cold?
I also think you should get your eyes checked out, especially if you don't have a sinus infection. You never know when eye stuff can happen. I would also assume it's not Adderall related. This doesn't seem like a typical side effect or reaction to Adderall, especially since you've been on it 6 months.
Best wishes!

I don't believe Adderal is a sinus med or can be used as a sinus med but then I am not the most educated person on meds either though.
