Hello there! I am a brand new member and was curious if Adderall XR or Adderall increases my sensitivity to the sun. I burn quickly already and would need to take even more precautions if Adderall had this side effect. I also take Zoloft 50mg and don't know if that would enhance this too? Finally, does anyone know of any forums like ADD Forums where they talk about Zoloft? Is there a forum here for people taking Zoloft and Adderall? Thank you for your time and this excellent community! :)

I have been on Zoloft 200mg/day for 5 or 6 years. This spring I added Wellbutrin to address anxiety and was then referred to an ADD specialist who prescribed the adderall ( currently 30mg bid). I am really new to this so I don't have any info for you but will be watching this thread for more info.

Welcome, manicmatthew!!

Adderall does not increase sun sensitivity. I don't believe it's a side effect of the med. You can always call your pharmacist to ask.

here are links where zoloft could be:
depression forum:

Or General Medications

One of the easiest things to do is search for zoloft. The search button is in the bottom of the box that tells you who you are and what section of the forums you are in.

Enjoy the forums!

Adderall can cause mydriasis (chronic pupil dilation) so you would definitely have a reaction to sunlight since your pupils can't constrict.
