Greetings all,
I am in search of a new shrink. The one I have now doesn't hear me when we discuss meds etc. He has his own way and ideas of how this should work.
So, what are some good questions to ask a therapist before booking the first appointment?

* Do you specialize in treating people with ADHD?
* What are your treatment modalities? (Behavior modification, therapy, medications, etc)
* Do you treat Adults as well as children?

Sorry to hear you are not happy with your current therapist. It must be really frustrating to try an establish a relationship and have the medical professional not listen to your input. :(
