Music can alter my mood ; I'm sure it must have an effect, with other people here?...

I was just listening to the 'Eddie Reasoner music links' and i found it, to be too hyper:eek: , for my present mood 'anxious'(side effects of my strattera)... and now i feel quite agitated  ..
The music would be more bareable, if the tempo, was much s-l-o-w-e-r :) ..in my opinion :D

What i really ought to be listening to right now, is either Kitaro or 'Moments in Love' By Art of Noise... both choices there are very calming ( sorry there's no link).

I'm sitting at the PC in the room, where, there also happens to be, a couple of my children watching DVDs... so that blows the chance of listening to any music.
*Reminds myself, to get some headphones!*

Song Catcher CD, from the movie by the same name. It is about ethnographers discovering that the musical traditions of the Appalachian Mountains date to a much older northern European tradition (plus a bit of African thrown in for good measure).
And now I am re-re-discovering old time music...

ps. The tradition of songcatching was when the learner sat knee to knee with the teacher and learned the song exactingly and exactly by singing it one line at a time, back and forth.

Daniel Bedingfield - 'Sorry' :D

ADD is my excuse
And with my excuse I shot you down
And I know I've got to change
But I can never work out how

How can I say I'm sorry when I know I'll do it again
Do it again
I know what I did but I still don't know the reason
I wanna say I'm sorry but I know I'll do it again
I'll do it again
I'll do it to you
I don't wanna hurt you anymore

Neva heard of him but sounds like he needs to practice Taking Control of His Life. I've learned that there are two ways of looking at ADD 1.) I have ADD 2.) ADD has me. Its my belief that you can choose between the two with a little hard work and education. When first dx'd I thought I was born to fail and would never gain control of my impulses but with age and research I have found a lot of ways to accept my ADD for the gift it actaully can be and I've learned to utilize it as a gift.

I'm listening to Kid Rock
gonna have to change my choice here soon, he is not conducive with studying. lol

That's why I don't usually listen to slow songs, Bedders! I like songs that are speedy and make me smile and want to dance because they have a great, fast beat!

Now, i'm listening to Harry Connick jr's Blue Light Red Light Cd - the song is "Kiss Me"
It's one of my favorite songs of his.
