Lately, it seems like lots of ADDers from B.C. are joining the forums. Come on B.C., stand up and be counted!

I have spent most of my life in Beautiful British Columbia and many years in the East Kootenays.

Hey, thanks for checking in. I know there are more of us around.

I spent two wonderful years in Victoria until I ran away from University. :D

I met my husband almost thirty years ago in Vancouver and our first baby was born there in the drafty old Grace Hospital.

I really miss the ocean, but I love the mountains and the greenspace where I live now.

I was in Whistler Bc for a week (Wow) the place is amazing. Very clean compared to New York City where I live. The mountain biking in Bc area is some of best. Good luck from Jstar in NYC. :)

10-19-05, 02:47 AM
Hi Jstar,
Nice to hear from you. I have heard that New York is less "tidy" than what we're used to here, but New York is NEW YORK! I know a couple of local kids who had the opportunity to go to school in New York and they loved it.

Welcome, Melanieon. I learned to swim in Okanagan Lake. :)

That sounds lovely :) I actually grew up in Ontario, just north of Toronto.
I just moved to Kelowna 5 years ago. Much more laid back here , really love the weather too of course. ;)

Thank you so much for welcoming me.
