I always forget to do things...so I've done some research online for free programs.

One program allows you to place "post it notes" on your desk top. You can adjust the size of the note depending on its importance, and drag it anywhere on your desktop. The version I have is called "post-it software notes lite" but there are other versions of it.

Also, if you have microsoft Outlook, you can make a task list, and keep a to do list that way.

I prefer the post-it notes, because everytime I turn my computer on, the notes stare me in the face.

I hope this helps some of you!

Thanks, Gil, but I have a Dell . . . .

Here is the link: Post-it Software Notes (http://www.3m.com/market/office/postit/com_prod/psnotes/)

I think I'll give it a try.

Outlook has a notes feature which is essentially a sticky. I find I tend to use real paper stickies, so I don't use it much.

Outlook is the best program to use for Work, with reminders & task list & flagging e-mail, I don't have to remember anything, just type it in as soon as you get the assignment or a task to do.

For personal, I don't care if I remember anything.

A GREAT free search utility for Outlook is Lookout (http://www.lookoutsoft.com/Lookout/download.html). If you're like me, and can't seem to find that missing e-mail or contact person...this utility indexes everything in outlook, and gives you a searchbar in outlook to find what you're looking for. Its FAST and has saved my skin on countless occassions.
