I'm sure everyone here can relate to this. You have a lot to do and your mind is full. You're busily getting on with what it is you have to do and are trying to be focused. Then to add to the stress you're already feeling someone else you live with suddenly decides to tell you something like "use up the deodorant in the airing cupboard" or "can you get some more milk later?". Its just too much to cope with when you're stressed out in the first place and are aiming to have less to worry about not more

My husband's standard reply to something like this is, " I'm sorry, but my worry department is all filled up at the moment. You're gonna have to worry about that one for me!" ;)

Thats why I write EVERYTHING down :D
Not only that....but then there's the whole stress of trying to figure out just exactly what an "airing cupboard" might be....

Excellent reply one for your husband. it is probably a more positive response than the AHHHhhh what do you mean we are out of toliet paper.....or the look that could kill.......

Gee i thought I was the only one who hadn't a clue...a cupboard....a board where cups air???????

lol The airing cupboard contains a heater so that towels etc stay dry in there. Yes, running out of things unexpectedly is a pain, as there must be around 50 household items that will need re-plenishing at some point. I keep meaning to keep a system to keep track. I do have 3 free weeks, just hope I use them wisely.
Linguist, are we safe in assuming you do not have central heating in your home?

We do have Central Heating, and it is operated from the Airing cupboard. and yes, an Airing cupboard is for airing things and I suppose you could air cups if you want but I never heard anyone who did :D , its mostly textiles, so clothes can also be aired in there.
