School, when you know what you want to do and are there, is one of the most stimulating things you can do. Make sure to get the accomodations you need and don't be shy about forming relationships with your profs. Stay on top of things, both in class and in regards to admin stuff, and you'll have a wonderful time.

Good luck!

I'm 31 and just returned back to school this past winter. I too had a lot of anxiety do to so many past failures. I agree with bcaddkid about getting the accomadations and talking to your instructors. Many schools offer a lot of support services too. Try to take advantage of everthing you can.

I am 43 years old and just starting back to school. Talk about feeling like it might be too late. However, I have a supportive therapist and I am detrermined. I would say never regret going back to school at any age. The earlier the better but its easier before you have a family! If you dont go you'll always wonder if you should have. Getting your degree will enable you to get what you want instead of being limited to what you could get. My therapist was a VP of an airline and he went back to school at 50 for his MFT. He's now 70 and still loving his decision and working strong.

I'd say: make sure your disability is treated and have a good therapist that will talk you out of giving up!
