Without adderall, when I read stuff the words will often pass right out my ears without my comprehending them...
with adderall, I at least have much more mental capacity to read, so it would take quite a bit of studying/reading to make me as fatigued.
I just did a bunch of math problems and I still can't get them because unlike the kind that's difficult to understand, this is the kind that's very tedious and requires many many complicated operations.
I just called it quits, I can't take thinking so hard!

I work in front of a computer all day and we are heading into our busy season. We get so swamped that first they ask for voluntary overtime, then they mandatory it, then the ask for voluntary Saturdays, then they mandatory those. From August to December I'm working 12- to-14-hour days and let me tell you, I've FINALLY caught on that when I can't move my mouse anymore because I can't retain what it is I'm supposed to do, it's time to leave. The hardest part, though, is when holidays come around I can't bring myself to get organized to handle the family get-togethers, shopping, cooking, etc. I just want to tell my family, "Can't do Thanksgiving, I just want to sleep for 72 hours. Can't do Christmas, I just want to sleep for 81 hours." But that 'wouldn't be acceptable.'

Gee I don't even work all those hours and I can't organize all that stuff either. For presents it is usually one of two things gift card or cash!!!!!! Makes last minute shopping so much faster no long lines, no out of stock items, plus returns NEVER happen. I usually get gift card to one of the depatrment stores like Wal-Mart or the mall!!!!!

Usually, when i think so much with school, my brain just doesn't shut off. It drives me bonkers!!I know that feeling well! Try going for a walk or jog. Kind of helps reset the brain. Looking back at college, I realize the only way I got through without meds was by exercising during the day and pacing the dorm halls at night.
