hi, im new to this site and i am 16 year old and ive been taking adderall xr with 20mg 2 times aday for about a year now... ive been having problems breathing, like i have to take deep breaths alot. Also i have alot of trouble sleeping at night and i usually take beanadrill to help me get tierd. and i have trouble eating so basicly i just eat one meal and thats around 7 pm which sucks.. And at school without my medicine im socal and talkative, but with my medcine i dont talk at all and i just sit quitly to my self..i was wondering if this happens to anyone else too.

I'm sorry you are experiencing difficulties with your medication. Have you reviewed your symptoms with your doctor and/or parents? This should be your first step.

Is your diagnosis ADHD / with (hyperactive) or ADHD / without (inattentive)?

Has the medication always affected you the same way or did these changes just recently occur?

When do you take your doses?

i dont have adhd i have add.. and i take my medicine in the morning
and ever since ive been taking any add medicine all those symtoms have been happening

ADD is now known as ADHD as per DSM-IV-TR.
