Can anyone tell me what is considered prolonged use of adderall? I asked my psych., and she said some say it's a year, some say it's 20 years. This is due to the fact that many diagnosed children will have to go on and use medication into adulthood. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I've been taking Adderall IR since 1999. Some people consider that long time. But, I bet there are some who have been on it longer than me.

I think 6 years is prolonged use, especially for me, considering my body's tolerance to extended med use isn't very high.
