Nocturnal

If I take my medication after a certain time, mainly after 10:30 AM I will suffer from insomnia that night. Who here suffers from the same fate I do and do you take your medication the next day to keep you going after you don't sleep very well? I basically was tossing and turning all night last night.

I usually have insomnia if I don't take my meds. Have you spoken to your doctor about this?

Oddly enough, I'm about about to post a similar topic to what Moody Blonde just said. I've been fighting a bad bout of insomnia for about 2 months now (not total lack of sleep, but 5 hrs is a great night for me). For me though, Adderall (40-60mg/d XR) helps me sleep better.
Do you take the XR, or normal release Nocturnal? Has this been a problem since you started taking adderall? I've found that if I drink any caffiene after about noon I have problems sleeping (even if I took the meds at 6am). I've also found that eating late gives me problems sleeping (only when I've taken adderall though)
Once I get in a rut of insomnia, a 5-7 day stretch of Ambien is usually what it takes to get me back on track (I finally decided that I needed to go the ambien route again).. Thats just me though, and I tried many non-narcotic methods of sleep before I realized thats what is needed
