My Dr. gave me some for a problem with muscle spasms in my shoulders. It was bad, I was having trouble sleeping.

I was very apprehensive about taking them so I broke it in half.

My question is has anyone had any troubles taking them? When I stated to feel woozy and went to bed. But couldn't stay there ! I felt restless and was having trouble with my coodination due to the pill. I felt out of control and scared. The pill neither helped me sleep or get rid of the spasm.

I also have troubles with cold meds. which seem to be something alot of ADDers have.

Sounds pretty much like myself and my son. Everything seems to work the opposite so what would relax others tenses me up. I also notice this with drinking and since cold medications are mostly alcohol (at least here in Germany) they also keep me up ALL night feeling edgy.

Huh, I thought it was just me. They not only work the opposite on me, I'm actually allergic to some things, like one prescription for hypertension that gave me hives. That's why I stick with homeopathic/herbal supplements for the most part. Cold medicines that say "non drowsy formula" put me right to sleep but most cold and allergy meds do that to me. Until about the 3rd night when I can't sleep at all.

I depends on the muscle relaxer....I went through a couple types last month when I had terrible spasms in my low back. The first one did nothing. The second one helped loosen up the muscles so I could stretch before sleeping.
It also made me drowsy.
