I was wondering what is a better alternative to ativan, klonopin, etc for anziety attacks, etc.

I hate both these things but I have no go right now..

Some doctors will prescribe second generation SSRIs such as Zoloft, Wellbutrin, or Paxil for this. Many of these drugs are actually on-label prescribed for panic attacks. The difference is that these drugs are not taken situationally, but taken regularly. They then prevent the panic attack from happening, in some cases.

As for "better," I couldn't say...different drugs for different situations. There are certainly "other" ways to treat panic attacks, but "better," I dunno.
