Any reason why you're wondering who would do well on this test? For the record, I usually test very well, once I understand the systematics fo the test.

I did worse than you I got 2 right. I like this quiz because it's different than others because this isn't really about knowledge but to see if you're paying attention. Thought it would be perfect to post on an ADD forum, but you guys are doing pretty well so far.

I knew they were trick questions as soon as I saw the first one, and I couldn't seem to gather up the sarcastic remarks fast enough to get them all right!
I got the Moses one, the birthday one, and the division one right though!

I will admit that I had seen most of the questions before!

It is difficult because we tend to read and answer as the questions seem. The answers to these questions are never obvious.

Be careful of the 1/2. 30 divided by 2 is the same as 30 / 2. 30 divided by 1/2 is the same as 30 / (1/2) which is (30 * 2) / 1 which is 60. So the final answer was 70.

I got 7/11 but I was watching the movie Hitch at the same time.

In fact, it took quite a bit of will power to finish the quiz....I find them amusing.....but get bored about halfway through. I think they need to ask more stimulating questions. :D

I missed the divide 30 by 1/2 and add 10 question the really sad part is--we just went over this in class and I scored a 100 on the test. lmao

LOL...I got 9/11 even tho I've taken this test before and scored 100! I even missed the Moses question which is one I used to give to my sunday school class!

The one that I supposedly missed was the pills question, but I believe that they are in error on that one. Warning: Spoilers





The question reads "If a doctor gives you three pills and asks you to take one every thirty minutes, how long do the pills last?" The supposedly "correct" answer according to the test is 60. I maintain that it is 90. Here is the test's reasoning: "60 - start with one pill, thirty minutes later take the 2nd, then thirty minutes for the third." They forgot to count that the third pill will presumably last for thirty minutes. Obviously I'm used to a much higher level of stupidity in general, especially on the internet, but one would expect that an intelligence test, especially one based on logic problems, wouldn't make such a simple error.

my adhd got me....4/11 haha that was fun though. I love logical trick questions. They caught me by surprise though. I haven't done one for a couple of years. Overlooking details, will be the death of me.

I posted the reasoning above. You have to really be careful on the wording:

Be careful of the 1/2. 30 divided by 2 is the same as 30 / 2. 30 divided by 1/2 is the same as 30 / (1/2) which is (30 * 2) / 1 which is 60. So the final answer was 70.

Thirty divided in half is typically thought as dividing it into two pieces, but is technically not correct. It should be thirty divided in 2 (as in, 2 resulting pieces).

bcaddkid,you're not a retard because you didn't get the score you wanted there,internet quizes' cannot judge true intelligence as they do not take other factors into account,ADHD being one(the ADHDer might be unable to focus on questions or their attention span might be causing them to lose part of the information)and also academic learning disabilities/difficulties.

I supposedly have an IQ of 75,but I don't care about saying it because it is entirely unaccurate,and anyone else with ADHD who gets low scores shouldn't give up hope to-my maths LD and ADHD dictate my IQ results but they don't show me helping my older sister with using more formal English language in her degree and CV or getting letters published in music magazines.
The main point is,academic quizes and tests-whether formal or informal are discriminatory towards those with ADHD and academic learning disabilities.

LOL. Yes! I know what you mean...I overlook every detail possible. I am however excellent at scanning for information I need. I have watcha could call, assumption. I assume certain things to be true and never look back. Even while I'm reading. I have great memory, I just assume based upon previous knoweledge. It would seem like I'm not trying most of the time, but I am, I swear.

well i only got 3 right, and here i was thinkng those questions were so esy.

That was fun, expecially because I am supposed to be working....i got 10/11. only because I knew they were trick questions and I read them to find the trick, interestingly, the only one I got wrong was the outs per inning.....which is insane since I play baseball all the time and follow it like a rabid fiend.....hmmmmmmmmm

Sure. 30 divided by 1/2 + 10 is:

30/0.5 which equals 60. 60 plus 10 = 70.

30/2 or 1/2 of 30= 15 is where most people got messed up.
