If I had known what I know now about ADD when I was rasing my ADD son I would have done many things different.
My son has not been speaking to me for about 4 months due to ADD on both of our parts and many differences.
He is now starting to explore his ADD and I have been very deeply involved in self exploration for the last 4 months.
He is now starting to speak again and we are both relizing that its the ADD that has caused many problems over his growing life.
I accept much of the responcibillity for many of the problems we have encountered and I beleve he is now starting to see the light and fight his way out of the fog.
We both have a long road to travel to set things right but at least we are both trying now.
This brings me to the reason for this thread.
What can we do as responcible citizens and human beings to see that situations like this are posibly avoided in other ADD Familys .
How do we reach the 4-6 % of the population to let them know they are not alone.
All ideas and suggestions greatfully welcomed
