I just bought a great piece of technology, great for everyone, but especially great for the ADD in me. I bought an alarm clock radio CD player that sets its own time. I never have to set the time on it. If it has an electical shortage, it resets itself to the correct time. I believe it is getting the time off the GPS system, but i don't know where it gets it. I just know that there is not a problem anymore knowing which clock has the right time, and no more alarm clocks that didn't go off because of having an electic outage.

Smart technology, for anyone, but especially smart for us!!

Do you have a name and a model number for this device? So that we might track it down if we are interested in acquiring one of our own?

Most clocks that set time on their own pick up a signal from one of the atomic clocks run run by the US Govt. It sends out a radio signal that sets clocks all over the US.

I'll check the model # and brand, and thank you Big...I didn't know that.
