Hey I was diagnosed about 4 or 5 months back as having ADD and thus far the only med that's worked for me is Ritalin. But I had to take it about 4 times a day at a dose of 20mg, my doctor didn't seem too happy with me needing that much, so he tried me on Dex which doesn't work at all. I'm in the process of petitioning my drug plan provider to supply me with coverage for straterra (i'm pretty optomistic that i'll win the coverage), so gearing up for that i have a few quick questions. I'm 21 and in university, so I would like to know what the effects of mixing this drug with alcohol or marijuana are?? I've tried drinking after having taken a Dex and it's not good, but my understanding is that strat isn't a stimulant so i'm assuming the effects of mixing the two would be different.
Has anyone else had success with Strat after failing to do well on ritalin or dex?
