Bouncing Brain(s)
A Playful description of people whose attention span is not where it’s supposed to be.
Anyone with an inconsistant attention span.
An effect of disruptive distraction due to one or more of the following:
· A stimulus-driven psyche where focus fades unless engagement is strong (see ‘Hunter’)
· Thinking too much about a given thing or too many things at once (see Overthinker)
· A mind that is hard to switch off (see Overfocusing)
· Easily distracted, absent-minded or scatterbrained (see Underthinking)
· A chronic struggle to concentrate on request or to multi-task (see Underfocusing)
· Difficulty with synchronizing auditory, visual, or verbal input and output (see Learning Differences)
· Prone to flipping between extremes of over-and underfocusing (see All or No Attention Span)
How highly creative or visual-spatial thinkers may seem if engaged in linear, methodical tasks (see Nonlinear Minds)
A possible side-effect of being extra-gifted, extra committed or extra-energetic (see Edison Trait)
How people who thrive on challenge may respond when sufficient challenge is not available.
What happens when a harried life results in a hurried mind
How anyone may seem attention is weak due to preoccupation, stress, or boredom.
A person with symptoms of a clinical attention deficit (See ADD & ADHD)
A term that can be applied to roving minds, racing hearts, & restless souls of all kinds-especially when they combine.
