View Full Version : What subjects do you like?
ubermoi25 10-06-05, 07:56 PM Alright,We all have subjects that we dislike and/or hate.
But does any one here have a subject they like alot or even just a little
Me, I like learning but not School :D
No, but seriously I like a lot of subjects. I like Math and Science and I also really like History and Goverment/Economics and other social science classes.
So what about about you?
livinginchaos 10-06-05, 10:06 PM Great idea for a poll, ubermoi!
I wish I liked math and science! My favorite was always music. I also liked English, but music made school worthwhile for me.
I picked music/drama, but I also loved my Logics classes.
Nova
I dont know if this would be considered a subject, but i like Study Skills
(special ed class) because i can get all of my homework done at school.
I like the teacher a lot because she is kind and funny and we both have
the same sense of humor.
ubermoi25 10-07-05, 06:07 PM You know I picked science but I really almost picked Social Studies as I said I love history so much..!
As for Study Skills I think that schools having that type of class is a wonderful idea.I think having a good teacher for that could make or break school for you.
Where's PE :p That one's my fav.
I also like English; writing I love :)
CharlieM 10-22-05, 08:57 PM Science has got to be my favorite it class. It has always made sense to me...and I even find, and brace yourself for this one, chemistry FUN!

auntchris 02-23-07, 11:33 PM I loved school but had a hardtime with many subjects, so I chose are on the list. Nova you seem like a person who would like music and drama.
crazycat1990 05-09-09, 12:28 AM Drama was such fun!
Science was pretty cool too with all the experiments and stuff :D
γ-quantum 05-09-09, 03:58 AM yay, science! \o/
it was a bit dull still, i'm glad i can just do it in my own speed at home now, which i prefer a lot. i dont know... i think the way you're being taught stuff at school is not appropriate / ideal for a lot / most people. hmm.
like, learning another language for example. how did you learn your primary language? by first learning grammar and vocabulary rules? nope, you just learned it by copying what others were saying. you eventually found out you dont say 'quantum wants joghurt!' but 'i would like a joghurt'. stuff like that. why do i have to learn grammar for my secondary langauges?
well, i never did. i learned english much like i learned german, too - by using it, on the internet and when i was in britian.
most germans who 'only' learned english at school speak really broken english... it's almost impossible to communicate.
while the dutch, for example, usually speak very good english. why? everybody says its because they dont get translated tv shows, like we germans do, but they do get the ORIGINAL english version of ALF or THE A TEAM, just with subtitles. that way, even kids learn english in a natural way, and thus, most dutch people speak very fluent to near-native level english.
i think we should revise the way we teach people things at school, at least here in germany (dont know enough about the educational systems in other countries to judge).
JBiscuit 05-09-09, 04:17 PM Goodness, I like them all!
I personally love school, because I am learning. I hate it when no body else really cares about school, but if I am going to go to school, I am going to learn.
I love Science, I love History, I love Math (when I have my calculator), I love English (reading books. Writing stories), I love music (I play bassoon and percussion), and I draw alot (art).
I dont like art as a class, but I do like to draw.
