Ok so yesterday i finally take my laptop into the Geek Squad at Best Buy
to be fixed before my warranty expires next month. I showed the nice
young man the problems that needed to be fixed. He was very kind and
it seemed like he really knew a lot about computers (not as much as me,
of course! LOL j/k). So he told us all of the details of what they will fix
and how they will fix it. I should be getting my laptop back in 4 to 5 weeks.
He also said the Emachines, the brand of my laptop, stopped producing laptops 3 months after mine! I found that very interesting. He also gave
me a free extra battery for my laptop! So if you cant fix it, or dont want
to screw it up by fixing it yourself (LOL), i'd recommend these guys. :)

Geek Squad gets the ADHDer's Seal of Aprovall! LOL

Best Buy is a bunch of unoriginal losers. They stole the whole concept for their "Geek Squad" from a kid who went to a neighbouring highschool. He called his company "Nerds R Us" or something like that, and had his staff driving around in red VW Beetles. They did tech work, network set up, and really cool advanced stuff that the Geek Squad only WISHES they knew how to do, as well as consumer help. He made tons of cash, then Best Buy ripped him off hard.

Some Louisiana State University students had a business here years ago called Rent-a-Geek. :D

As a geeksquad agent, I would like to point out that best buy did not steal the geeksquad idea. We simply bought geek squad after it was made into a successful store. As for our double agents who travel around in the bugs, they probably know more than the high school kids that started Nerds R Us, seeing how they actually obtain college credits in computers before they are hired into the company. I would like to thank you Gil R for the compliments and referral of geek squad. One of the most important things that are customers can do, is refer us to there friends and family.
