I been on strattera for about 2 week's now. First 2 weeks i was on the 25mg , I felt it very much how i changed and became less of a socializing person. Relaxed and etc.... But not to much focus/concentrated just very calm, after 2 weeks of still not able to focus/concentrate...i got moved on to 40mg, which today makes it my hrm.... 4th day i believe on 40mg and it feel's so less of what i felt on the 25mg, like if the 25mg was stronger ? possible ? , i get no side effect's except mood-swing's(simple **** off) , sleepy at night;s... Doctor told me that i can choose from stimulated to non-stimulated (which forgot which one strattera is) the point is i picked strattera cause he said he lasts 24 hour's in you're system, to me it feel's when i take it at 7-8am , by 1pm it's gone, A.D.D kick's in, i get home, my leggs just start jumping i'm all hype. so i wonder what should i do ? it's my 4th day on the 40mg which i feel less effect of what i felt on the 25mg, should i increase the 40mg dosage or something. or just continue 1 capsule every morning unit this friday and tell my doctor what's going on. cause it's like not working, it does ..but very listten... and then goes away ? r0fL....he said after 3 weeks, strattera stays in you... either that's true or my A.D.D is just something to strong. i have had it for about 11 year's and just 4 week's ago i decided to take med's for it. so what is it guy's ?

Straterra is a non-stimulant class I think. It works well for some and not at all for others. I have a student who takes it and is rollercoastering big time. You're not supposed to with Straterra, but everyone's body is different. I'm hoping that after 20 days you have the issue straightened out or have tried a different med.

I noticed a stronger effect during the first couple weeks of taking it. I take 40 mg in the morning and definitely notice it wear off around 6-7 hours later. Maybe I'll see if I can take 2 pills a day rather than one. But currently I am staying on one 40 mg pill, for at least 30 days. At 60 mg I had worse side effects.

Many of my side effects wore off after a couple weeks.
