Ihavekeys? 11-21-05, 11:20 PM :soapbox: klonopin is addictive...very much more than other benzos in my opinion because it isnt fast acting like xanax. it is actually more effective if you take it regularly which is a very bad thing to do. doctors prescribe it all the time for anxiety like its no big deal bet if youve ever tried to get off those suckers you know what I'm talking about. boooooo benzos but seriously, listen to your doctor he knows best netsavy006 11-22-05, 10:14 AM I know what your talkin bout Ihavekeys?... I had a very hard time when getting off Ativan (lorazapam) netsavy006 11-22-05, 10:15 AM I posted this when I was in a high bout of anxiety. It's no longer like that and I got off all my medication right now. Ihavekeys? 11-22-05, 02:19 PM cool good for you benzos are hard to beat but if you did I'm proud :D jayblaze2 02-03-06, 03:53 PM i take benzos (klonopins), dexedrine and zoloft. I have never had any trouble stopping any of them. I took xanax before the klonopins and the xanax was way more addictive. Its because xanax is quick to get in your body and quick to leave. Klonopins have a longer half life. mrsvoorhees26 02-08-06, 09:18 PM klonopin is a great anti-anxiety benzo. i took it for the past two years but had to stop since i was taking it with xanax and had to choose one and xanax is quicker acting for my panic attacks. it was not hard to come off of at all for me. i have stopped taking benzos before and never had withdrawl. i just stopped my xanax for the past week since my tolerance was getting high and didnt notice too much, just a bit more panic. i hope the klonopin works for you if you decide to take it. -heather netsavy006 02-09-06, 11:46 AM My Anxiety level decreased enough to not even need to go on it. Matt S. 03-08-06, 08:42 PM i am addicted to benzo's (recovered and clean for 4 years) and zoloft made me act manic so i'd be a poor one to ask... actually i must be in my post dexedrine babble-mouth phase right now because i dont know why i posted to say that... dexedrine doesn't seem to be addicting for me though but w/ adhd i get no reinforcing high like i did w/ "alcohol in pill form" what my bodies response to benzo's were... for some they get hooked to stimulants yet w/ benzo's they can take them safely every person is different... not everyone get addicted to klonipin so don't let me hinder your treatment sorry |
