This afternoon while in class i finally noticed how incredibly fidgety I am. I took my cellphone apart about 12 times, and deconstructed my mechanical pencil more times than i could count. Doing something mindless with my hands seems to help me listen and learn, even though it doesnt help me with notetaking. Its between listening and fidgeting or completely not listening at all and staring at the desk, wall and cute girl 3 rows up. So I was wondering if anyone had any ideas of simple (and possibbly productive) mindless tasks which i could preform to help keep my mind on class. I know i heard someone mention crochet, but i dont know how to do that. It sounds like it would be along the right lines though.

GET A TANGLE!!!!
My doctor gave me a tangle a while ago and he told me to take it to school with me and instead of tapping a pencil or doing something else that disrupts the class play with the tangle. It is the coolest thing ever. You dont even know your playing with it and its quiet just dont throw it around cause I did that once and my teacher took it from me lol.

Have you got a link to that "Tangle" thang? It sounds like a couple people in this family should not go anywhere without one. :D

I got my tangle at Target. Its hard to describe, but its a plastic thing that bends and moves in every way possible. Its great to keep one occupied.

The other thing I have used is silly putty. Also quiet and it does not distract others.

If anyone could post a link, please do, I still can't figure out what a tangle is and sounds like it could really be useful.

Thanks
