Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

You know your children are growing up when they stop asking you where they came from and refuse to tell you where they're going.

Children seldom misquote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.

This one is from Peter Pan:

Wendy: Peter, what are your real…feelings ?

Peter: Feelings ?

Wendy: What do you feel ? Happiness ? Sadness ? Jealousy ?

Peter: Jealousy ? Tink !

Wendy: Anger ?

Peter: Anger ? Hook !

Wendy: Love ?

Peter: Love ?

Wendy: Love…

Peter: I have never heard of it.

Wendy: I think you have, Peter. I daresay you’ve felt it yourself for something..or someone.

Peter: Never. Even the sound of it offends me.

Wendy: Peter..

Peter: Why do you spoil everything ?! We have fun, don’t we ? I taught you to fight and fly. What more could there be ?!

Wendy: There is so much more…

Peter: What ? What else is there ?

Wendy: I don’t know. I think it becomes clearer when you grow up.

Peter: I will not grow up ! You can not make me ! I will banish you, like Tinkerbell !

Wendy: I will not be banished !

Peter: Go home and grow up..and take your feelings with you !!

this is a quote from one of my favorite movies .. the notebook

Stay with you? What for? Look at us, we're already fightin'
Young Noah (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0331516/): Well that's what we do, we fight... You tell me when I am being an arrogant son of a **** and I tell you when you are a pain in the ***. Which you are, 99% of the time. I'm not afraid to hurt your feelings. You have like a 2 second rebound rate, then you're back doing the next pain-in-the-*** thing.
Young Allie (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1046097/): So what?
Young Noah (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0331516/): So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day. Will you do something for me, please? Just picture your life for me? 30 years from now, 40 years from now? What's it look like? If it's with him, go. Go! I lost you once, I think I can do it again. If I though that's what you really wanted. But don't you take the easy way out.

Charisma-
I used to have so many people in my past life that felt it was their entire purpose in life to try and remove my 'pain' and melancholy...
I need both aspects though, as much as I do my bell like laughter, and my wicked sense of humor, and my attribution of metaphors to describe everything in life, also as much as I have a need to give things unique names other than the boring names society attributes to them.
Like I just bought a really cool, quirky, tropical fern, with green pointy 'lasagna' looking leaves, that I've named Pyewakyt.

Or why when some 'manager' is yelling to his employees at Dominoes Pizza place, when I picked up my pizza, a few days ago, I had to loudly declare to him, that if he didn't apologize to each and every one of them, and apologize to me, also, I would not only not take my order (it equaled out to over $20), but that I would call his Corporate Office tomorrow, and not only have his **** fired, but sue them for emotional trauma (and I do know the law, Char..trust me on this) because he, and only he, was affecting me, while I was being subjected to his abuse.
That was Bullpoop, as far as I was concerned. But to someone else, who abuses people..maybe I'm as loony as loony can be..and need to be 'fixed'....see where I'm headed with this ?

I know the people from my past meant well..and that they couldn't understand me and how I 'was built'...I still see them, in my mind's eye..always chattering, loudly like squirrels, lol !! when they were actually saying 'We HAVE to find a way to stop her..we have to fix her...this laughter...this sadness..this anger..all on a turn of a dime at times...it's illogical...she is illogical..we have to DO SOMETHING TO FIX HER.
And try they did, lol.
There's nothing to fix though, mind you (0: because I'm not meant to be their twin. I don't have their identical genes, blood type, fingerprints, in other words..DNA...
And yet..the goobers still attempt to do so...but I'll patronize them every so often and allow them to think they are able to do that, lol !!
Now...are you going to carry that quote I posted on here with you -everywhere you go....really ?
If you like it that much...you can always Google The Charge, and read it in its entirety.
Too funny...you go girl !!!

Where there is a way or path, it's someone else's way. Each knight enters the forest at the most mysterious point and follows his own intuitions. What each brings forth is what never before was on land or sea: the fulfillment of unique potentialities, which are different from anybody else's. All you get on your life way are little clues."

I am amazed every day now when I look in this thread I created and I love that I did. No regrets! I love being able to come and see such cool quotes and thoughts.

As to the quote.. I am loving it because I was always one to use this language in my own poems as a teen in highschool. I would only get along with those who really read them and attempted to understand or even knew what they meant. There were many who would look at my words and be like, " what ???, I don't even know if that is English..."... MORON! lol sorry...

I will get to google it soon. I am working now.. lol ( my excuse for my new procrastination ) hahaha....

I just read into it in my own way.

Let's see... I just thought in a short version that it is as if .. "well if you can't find that happiness within yourself or whatever you seek out within yourself first.. you just wont find it at all. Without finding YOU... there is nothing else to learn from. How can you be without YOU?"... I don't know but that is just one small bit of what I got from that quote from "The Charge:)
