Hi, how's it going? I am in my early thirties and believe I have suffered from ADHD for a number of years. It has affected my life professionally and academically.

Can anyone recommend a general practioner/internist in Manhattan who is well informed on the subject of Adult ADHD/ADD?

Thanks.

I noticed this is your first post. Welcome to the forums. While your waiting for a reply to point you in the right direction I advise you to read thru some of the posts and learn a little from other newly diagnosed members there is sometimes a grieving period you go thru after dx you should be prepared.

If your anything like me waiting is murderous torture...you could try going to webmd and looking up an ADD doc in your area though it won't tell you who is a good doctor and who isn't but it'll give you a starting ground.

Best of luck,
Cherity

Do they really put tuna in a taco up there in New York???? Doesn't sound appealing!!!!! :faint:

Not to sure if the name crosses any lines, I can see it as food and......can't type that here  !!!!!!

Sorry 17 hours of work on 4 hours of sleep, think brain went to bed and forgot to take the rest of me with it!!!!!!

Until an answer is found...let me start by saying welcome to the forums!!!

Here are some hyperlinks that may be of some assistance.

I looked at national sites as I did not think a provider in Texas would be of much use...see some grey matter is still awake!!!!! :o

Hi, I'm TunaTacoGrande.

Thanks for the help.

Just found out that my insurance won't cover for ADD help from a physician, only from a shrink. Sucks.

Hi Tuna.

Your "old" account was closed when you created a new account (your current "Evicted" one). The name of your "old" account had been changed to comply with forum guidelines. Glad to see you back on the forums, albeit under a new name.
