Have fun, pembroke!!

I have to write a paper and take a test, plus the next movie I'm going to see is RENT (the midnight showing on the 23rd!!)

Harry will have to wait!

Let us know if you like it!!

i liked it, i liked it.....but i would not recommend taking young children to it. it is very frightening. i heard the younger ones screaming and crying during some of the "darker" scenes.

Was it an "on the edge of the seat" experience, pembroke?

i read the book, so i knew what to expect....but it was still startling to actually see scenes that i imagined from reading. it was fun to see the kids older, the dance, the beauxbatons and durmstrang's mode of transport come to life....

you can see quite a bit of the movie here, if you would like....

Going tomorrow, can't wait can't wait can't wait! I'm taking my 10-year-old, even though the movie's rated 12 here in Germany. I know Kilian won't be fazed by it. Hooray for ADD!

Just saw it this past weekend. Thoroughly enjoyed. Of course, when watching a movie based on a book I have the sad habit of comparing them. When I stopped I liked it even more.

Were those dragons amazing or what!?

Ron was perfect. Rupert Grint has him nailed.

I'd forgotten what it was like to be a hormonal, emotional teenage girl, thanks Hermione for reminding me. Thank G-d I'm not 14 anymore!

I have one itty bitty little tiny gripe...I think Dumbledore was too much. Three times he seemed out of character from the book. Too emotional, too out of control. I'll have to think about it. Maybe when I reread the book to my oldest I'll pick up on his character more clearly.

i agree. dumbledore is usually very laid back. if he gets angry at all, he manages to keep it under wraps and never show the kids. maybe the adults, but not the kids.

I went to see the movie two weeks ago.
On a Monday night at 10 PM.
After reading pembrokes post about crying kids.
I convinced my small group to go see a later movie. hehehe

Of course I was totally distracted by everything they left out from the book.
But after I see it a second time.
I know I'll grow to love it as much as the other three movies.
Now I can't wait for it to come out on DVD! :D

My partners wondering why I didn't mention.
What happened right before we all left to see the movie.
All of a sudden everyone starts saying things like.
Oh H*** No or I'm not walking in with her.
Sheesh you put on your Harry Potter glasses and they all go crazy.
I got them good. hehehe
Don't worry I took the glasses off before we left the house.;) :D
