Just purchaced a DVR Digital Video Recorder

Similar to a VCR but it records TV on a hard drive

I can see where I will get great enjoyment from being able to pause live TV when the wife speaks and I am engrosed in whatever Im watching

Listen to Wife
go back to watching TV where I left off

(forget what wife said anyway , but at least I did listen )

Fast Forward through commercials

rewind when you miss what someone said that is critical to the makeup of the show

An absolutly amazing invention

Well worth the money

and you can set it to record up to 80 hours of any channels you want for viewing at your convience

no more Tv stations controling when I watch TV
