Yesterday, was the last day at the Botanic Gardens in DC, for the final viewing for the Corpse Flower. Why...because, ironically, this specific flower is dying...
It's botanical name is Amorphophallus Titanum, and it bloomed worldwide, for all to see and smell it, in it's larger than life existance.
It is famous for smelling like rotting corpses.
Makes you want to rush out and plant a bunch of 'em, huh ?
Might work better than a burglar alarm, if you ask me...lol !!!
When it's in bloom, that is...which doesn't happen that often, though...
