Lately i'm not sure if it's just sinus attacks or panic attacks , or it seems like one is triggering the other. I went to doc to get back on remeron 45mgs.
I saw the syptoms of the panic attacks hower sinus comes on as well?
Any tips for either or i'm loosing it lately TIA

What's remeron? for sinus or for anxiety? I'm sorry you're dealing with both. Taking anything for sinus that could have triggered the panic attack? I think I read somewhere that sometimes an allergic reaction can present as a panic attack or something similar.
I used to get panic attacks on occasion (maybe 1 per year, or less?), now even more rare.
When I got them more, mine were often tied to something causing me to think about death and what happens when we die (movie, news report, a discussion, or a random thought popping into my head). Because I didn't know what I believed, the range of possibilities and uncertainty of it would cause me to panic.
I would get the pounding heart, the feeling like I need air, have a hard time swallowing, get that kind of unreal/detached feeling, a feeling inside of fear/fight or flight.
A couple times it when I was home at night by myself, sick and maybe taking a new medication and not feeling good. I'd start worrying about if my cold worsened or I had a reaction to the medicine and there was nobody to get me to a doctor.
A couple times it happened out of the blue for no reason I could figure out.
Because it happened so rarely and randomly I never sought treatment or medication to help with it.
What I found helped:
Being held by my boyfriend (if I had one and he was nearby), focusing on my breathing, drinking water, sucking on an altoid or losenge (for the throat/swallowing feeling), calling someone to talk until it passed or even have someone come stay with me if I was sick, watching TV to try and take my mind off it until I felt better and would get sleepy enough to fall asleep.
What helped the panic attacks around death was I decided what was getting to me was the uncertainty, so if I figured out what I believed there'd be less uncertainty and less fear. I started thinking about that and doing some reading and trying to work that out. Part of that involved taking a look at the faith tradition I was raised in as a child but had not been practicing to see if that offered any insight or direction. Eventually I had a clearer understanding of what I believed about death, and I can't remember having a panic attack around that issue in years since having resolved that question for myself.
If it's not a reaction to sinus or some medication, maybe there's an issue or underlying question lurking that could be the trigger? As an example: what if you were in a car accident and now you have anxiety and panic attacks associated with car travel. Maybe if you were able to work through things connected to the accident it would help resolve the anxiety when getting into a car.
So maybe it would help to look for some kind of pattern (if you aren't already aware of one).
Hang in there as you try to figure this out!

yeah i mean headache sorry if i'm not being clear on this post it's like hard to describe myself. The sinus headaches come on then test is tight kinda sore at times then my mind feels like impending doom.
Here's a thought...
Panic/anxiety can lead to generating loads of stomach acid. Too much stomach acid over a period of time, and it can actually affect your sinuses (and yes, cause you a headache). I have LPR (Laryngial Pharyngial Reflux), otherwise known as Acid Reflux. LPR occurs higher up in the the throat and can trigger sinus problems, throat clearing, etc. A good antacid (prevacid, zantac) might do you wonders.

You might also be having an emotional reaction to the pressure/pain of the sinus headache.
They can really be miserable and with panic attacks it only has to happen once for you to make up an association between activity A and panic B.
The first time may have been a coincidence, but now you start to feel anxious when your sinus headache kicks in and boom! a self fulfilling prophecy, as they say.
I didn't realize there was a connection between stomach and sinus, but the body is a complex thing, always something to learn.

I'll be...here's some info that I never noticed before...see now the gut is involved. Actually I have vomited with a migraine, but I always thought I got the headache first....maybe it was the other way around.
