Hi, Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Stefany I am 23 married and have a wonderful 15 month old daughter. I was just told I have ADD the inattentive type. I always knew there was something wrong but didnt know what. After coming across a book on it i almost fainted. How did this person know me so well?? So I went to the doctor and after many test / questions I was told what I already knew. Add the Inattentive type. Since then my mom and 2 brothers have been diagonsed with it as well. I was put on Adderall Xp and it really seems to help. Anyone taking this? Well thanks for listening:) ( I hope my message made since)

Hello and Welcome!!!
I am rather new to ADD myself I was just diagnosed at 31, I am taking Strattera, although alot of people on this website take the medicine you are taking and can offer some GREAT advise. I am still very new to ADD and I too always new something was wrong with but all anyone ever said to me "Lori you have to apply yourself" I thought thats what I was doing all those years. If I has $1.00 for every time I heard that i would be a millionaire right now, but this a great website for advise and support :O) I am too new to give you any kind of information myself, but many people here will help you :O)
Best of luck, I am finding it is wonderful to be different, Embrace your ADD and run with it :D

Hi there! I was diagnosed in October (I'm 42!) and am still getting used to the fact that I have ADHD. I've learned a lot from these boards, you will too. Good luck to you!
