I was wondering if welbutrin has caused anyone here to have really bad night sweats? I have been taking it for quite awhile and it is horrible. I wake up like 3 times a night drenched in sweat sometimes. I have been cutting back on my welbutrin to see if that helps and it has seemed to.
I also take paxil so it could be a side effect of that but I am not sure. I am leaning more towards the welbutrin.
Thanks for any input.

I take Wellbutrin & Adderall.
While I don't sweat at night, I often do during the day.

Cara,
I have gone through periods of night sweats, too. For the first couple of months after having each of my two boys, and about a year ago I had the problem for several months. I've since realized I was just entering a pre-menopausal state. Hot flashes are the most recent symptom. I'm only 39 (or will be soon).
Hope you get it figured out!
In my experience, it's definitely the Paxil!!! I am taking Wellbutrin now and I have no night sweats anymore!

I can totally relate. I also take Adderall and started taking Wellbutrin a couple weeks ago. EVERY night, I wake up drenched. It's only my upper body, though (I guess that's all it would be!). My head sweats and makes my pillow wet. My shirt also gets damp. I hate it. For me, it's almost certainly the Wellbutrin. It sucks, doesn't it?
My mother was having problems with sweating, heart racing, more frequent panic attacks, she was on paxil and wellbutrin, but stopped the wellbutrin and she said she doesn't get them anymore.

I have been taking welllbutrin for 6 weeks 200 mg daily. I hate the sweats and I am sure it is the well because I am not taking anything else. I also don't like irritability and tendency to anger etc. But I really like it because it helps me with the blue black periods of depression. They are not as intense or frequent. michael
