No school here, SNOW DAY :D

MY school year has just finished it is Summer Holidays.

And we ALSO got a snow day !!!

While living in Southern California means there's always sunshine or the well-wanted rain, it also has the downside of absolutely no snow days...ever...

my daughter got her wish....no school because of snow, which has been falling since 4 am and has not stopped yet! the porch bannister has what looks to be 3 inches on it, which means about 6 inches on the ground.

now she gets extra study time (yeah, right!)

I've never been blessed with kids.
A friend of mine used to always remind me that I have thousands of them, anyways in working with them, professionally. That helps..him saying that...
Anyways..I told someone this morning that I would love to be with kids on a snow day, because he was still half asleep at 9am..and his boys were already up when I called..and I said that we would've already been building a forte outside, for at least three hours and having a blast with snowball fights (his dog would have to be included, of course).

it finally stopped snowing around 3 pm. we live on one of the hilliest areas in the country. no way school buses can make it when it snows like this, hence, no school.

I really want that snow it is 89.6 F here (I found a converter) and it is still and that is because it is overcast. Yesterday it was sunny it reached 96.8 F. So summer has begun here. We still have no pool. Cool lighting storms and strong winds though. I wish we got snow. :(

no school today in my part of the world. the freezing rain makes it impossible for buses to drive the hills to get kids to school, so they just canceled...

I can hardly wait to get home tomorrow and get my first taste of winter in 2 years!
