I know this *really* doesn't have that much to do with ADHD, but I want to see what kind of music you guys listen to.

I, myself, like anything catchy. I'll listen to techno and "heavy metal" (Disturbed, mudvayne, crossfade, et cetera) mostly. Some rock, a fair bit of pop, et cetera.

My favorite song at the moment is "I'm Alive" by disturbed.

Classic rock mostly (ie: Rush, Jethro Tull, David Bowie, U2, Peter Gabriel) but I throw in a few out of genre twists to keep things interesting (ie: She Blinded me with Science, Play that Funky Music, Mexican Radio)

I've not decided if it's the music itself or the familiarness (is that a word?) of the rhythms that keep me going.

I'm no spring chicken but there's nothing better than coming upon a new band. Two of my favourites recently are Nada Surf, and The Fiery Furnaces. Rock/pop/alternative

I was listening to "mason City" by the Fiery Furnaces this morning on party shuffle in itunes, whatever that mean. I guess I gave it a high rating...

My favorite band (now) is Boards of Canada and my favorite song is "Happy Cycling"

My faves are mostly brain blisteringly fast and melodic metal.

It's got to have good structure and heavily rythmic.

Like:
Kreator
At the gates
Piledriver-Metal Inquisition (1985) This is awesome for a fake band!
Motorhead
Megadeth
etc.

Yeah, I'm 36 years old and still not tired of Metal.

My mother once said to me "You still listen to that?"
I said something like "Am I supposed to not like it anymore?"

What's with that? Oh well, my Mom was always hyper critical.
Not my fault.

Yep, I love mudvayne and disturbed also; techno is great.
There's tons of others I adore, too. Like Metric, NIN, tatu, etc. . .

Right now I'm listening to Johnny Cash, quite possibly my favorite muisician. My tastes are rather eclectic though. I enjoy many other artists with different styles - Rolling Stones, Clapton/Cream, Hank Williams Sr, Bob Marley,U2, REM, Woody Guthrie, etc. If it makes me tap my foot and bob my head to the rythym I'll probably like it. Doesn't matter the genre of the music - I hate labeling...

I'm a big-time GWAR freak. There's no better live show on the planet for my money, and the tunes are lyrically silly and ridiculously catchy. I've been getting back to my punk and metal roots again for the past few years, and I couldn't be happier about it, cuz loud and fun gives me a great buzz. The White Stripes are brilliant, Shonen Knife makes me smile ear to ear, and there's always an endless array of new artists to become briefly obsessed with by flipping through all kinds of internet radio channels, regardless of genre. Huzzah! for the internet, and its endless flow of stimuli!
