So far, I have ADHD, Gen. Anxiety Dis. , Bi-Polar 1, and deppression. I've been doing very well with Adderall, no complications there. The doc has been concerned with varies things, though. The Lexapro and Prozac had the same effects, fatigued and moody. My moodiness is already an issue anyway. She put me on a simple mood stabilizer, Lamictal. She is assuming Bi-Polar, but a lot of the same meds I'm seeing is used for varies disorders like OCD.
The outbursts of moods come out during the same situations, though. I'm getting a little confused, what if the spells are related to OCD. I can't wear the same outfit twice without washing it, even if I only wore it for an hour. I get in these outburts about piles of clean clothes. I want them folded, hung up, and put away. All my little corks about how I want every done is to much at once for me, so I blow up at my husband about a little help. It comes to a point sometimes that I have to do everything myself because no one does it right.
I've only been on the Lamictal for 3 days and it seems to be working without any noticable side effects.
I guess my question is that I need a second opinion from others alike.
Let me add that I have other little compulsions as well.

...She put me on a simple mood stabilizer, Lamictal. She is assuming Bi-Polar, but a lot of the same meds I'm seeing is used for varies disorders like OCD. ...I too have symptoms that cover a lot of diagnostic ground. I'm ADHD, OCD, have Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Depression....

Recently my doctor wanted to try me on Lamictal for the OCD, which is the most debilitating thing at the moment as it contributes to the ADD by allowing me to turn my attention completely aside from the task at hand, instead focusing on some low-priority task, and then skipping to another task, getting OCD about it, etc. until the workday is over and nothing is completed.

I refused to take the Lamictal because of the 1/1000 chance of a life-threatening skin disorder side effect. I cannot believe that I am not the one in one thousand.

But another med seems to be helping. I think it's clomipramine, but I'm visiting relatives now, and don't have my meds in their labeled bottles, just in a weekly pill storage container.
