Adderall relieve the symptoms of ADD or it block it? If you take Adderall it help you be more normal, focus, have energy, you can do a lot more... What I'm trying to say is Adderall make you become the real you, you without ADD or Adderall block the symptoms of ADD, meaning if you take Adderall you won't feel your ADD but it still there, the pills just block it for a while.

I am sorry I got problem to explain what I am trying to say. Is feeling fine on Adderall is being the real you without the symptoms of ADD or it just the pill, in reality being on Adderall, feeling fine coz of it is not the real you?

Okay I will try to explain what I mean differently.lol:) Is Adderall is like ex:Cocaine? When you take coke or any other drugs you may feel good for a while but after the good feeling go, being on Coke is not the real you, it you high, so is Adderall the same thing, it feeling good but is it the real you?

Sorry if I doesn't make much sence here!lol:) It kinna hard to expressed what I am trying to say. Anyways maybe some of you were able to understand what I mean and can respong.:)

Ok I think I get it so here's my answer from what I experienced.

Taking adderall will control the symptoms of ADD. No matter what you take you will always be ADD there is no cure but medication can alleviate those symptoms for awhile so you can function normally.

It's much different then being high. It will not make you feel good in the same way. You may feel better because you can accomplish more then you did without meds but it's not a false euphoric feeling. The good feeling you might get is relief or pride that you can finally get things done but not a I'm so happy or I feel no pain good feeling.

Another way to say it is if you are having a bad day taking Adderall will not make that bad day go away or make you instantly happy. If you are in a bad mood you'll still be in a bad mood after taking the meds you'll just be able to focus better during that bad mood.

Hope thats what you were asking if not either I'll try again or someone else might be able to give ypu a better answer

Thanks Mafiakiddo for the reply.:) I don't think I ever felt high on Adderall, it do like it suppose to do (I think), focus, got a bit more energy, not sleepy...I maybe were high on Adderall IR, I don't know if I can call it a high but it was much stronger then the XR. On the IR I got lots of energy like I could do everything, maybe I was euphoric, I don't know if it's the right word for it? Is Euphoric mean high? Euphoric=Happy, relax, calm but not high I think.

I haven't really taken any drugs where I wasn't still the real me. I've experimented with almost *cough* all of them *cough*, but no matter what, I am still me.

I don't feel high on adderall. I feel more normal, focused, and oriented. I'm more productive. I make eye contact when I speak. However, that still doesn't change me. It doesn't make me complete opposite of who I am.

When I take the medicine or not, the ADD side of me is still visible. Medicine just alleviates the symptoms to some extent. But, I don't think of taking it to get an euphoric feeling because it just makes me more "in tune" with reality and every day life involving friends, strangers, and co-workers.
