Is it safe to order medications online? The medications cost lest and it's more simple and less embarassing to do so then consulting a regular doctor. I'm thinking about it but I am not familiar with this new concept. I will be glad if anyone who do this type of things can reply back and give me more informations about all this. Thanks!

I've done it before. It depends on what type of medication you are looking for. Is it something that would normally need a prescription?

I think it is kinda hard to get a stimulant online but I am not sure about Strattera, it is not a Schedule II drug from my understanding. But I am not expert. good Luck-I know how you feel about not wanting to mess with doctors...

Would think a Stimulant you couldn't get online since it is a narcotic, but Straterra you probably could. I know my doctor told me to get my sons adderall refilled, I would need to physicaly pick up a perscription and take it to the phamacist where with the Strattera, you could get a three month supply and keep refilling until the perscription is done.

As others noted, the stimulants like adderall and concerta are ridgidly controlled, I don't think you get them mail-order. In fact, in my experience, they require a new prescription every time, and no more than 30-days supply at a time. They also must be filled within 1 week of the written date, pharmacist is required to destory it otherwise. I think there is also a time-limit on how soon you can get another since your last one, I think 23 days, but I don't know how that is enforced unless you always go to the same pharmacy. I also notice they're on a different prescription pad from other meds that appears to be watermarked.

It's a shame add folks can't take advantage of mail-order savings because others abuse the meds.

Yeah, I've seen Strattera kicking around online but never Adderall (or any other amphetamines). If you found Adderall/Concerta online I'd give you 1/10 odds it'd be a legit source. FWIW.

Hey OlDadd,

You mentioned . . . They also must be filled within 1 week of the written date, pharmacist is required to destory it otherwise.
My shrink gives me my scripts early sometimes - like 2 weeks early - and I can't bring them in until my other one runs out. So, I have filled a prescription for Adderall that was written more than 1 week prior????? Maybe because I always go to the same pharmacy?????? (I have my script early again, hope I don't have a problem. Just having to whip out my license feels like enough "extra attention" for me.)
